This poster was created to promote a conference that took place in 2001 at the Université du Québec à Montréal's Design Centre. The lectures by Renée Daoust and Aurèle Cardinal focused on innovative urban projects underway in Montreal's old port. The artist behind this poster, Stéphane Huot, graduated from the Rhode Island School of Design in 1996 - after which he established a graphic design business in Montreal. He has taught at UQAM since 1997 and is a member of the Society of Graphic Designers of Quebec (SDGQ).
This poster is in excellent condition and ready to be framed. It has been linen backed to ensure its preservation. This poster is available at l'Affichiste thanks to Marc Choko, Professor Emeritus at the Université de Québec à Montréal (UQAM) School of Design. A long time collector of posters, Choko has curated exhibitions and published on the subject since the 1980.
