Michel Bouvet was born in 1955 in Tunis (Tunisia) and studied at the École Nationale Supérieure des Beaux-Arts de Paris. He lives and works in Paris. His studio works mainly for public institutions: theatres, operas, museums, festivals, dance companies, orchestras... and for publishers in France and abroad. He has participated as a poster artist in international biennales and is now a professor at the ESAG/Penninghen, École Supérieure des Arts Graphiques, Paris and a member of Alliance Graphique Internationale (AGI) since 1997.
