About The Poster: These small gems were in the studio archives of the Mauzan Morzenti studio . They were purchased in Italy from a collector who was fortunate enough to buy the archives of Mauzan and his design partner Morzenti. They reflect the style of the master of the house of Mauzan - they are humorous, colorful, and, at least to me, unforgettable. They were most likely produced in the late 1920s, early 1930s.
To the best of my knowledge and research, these posters were never produced, although the company Paleari still makes furniture in Monza, Italy.
Each maquette measures roughly 2 x 3 inches - they seem to have been executed in watercolor on arches paper and then mounted on black presentation paper.
They have been archived since produced and show no ageing, no foxing, no tearing and no wear.
