About the Poster: I don't often find items from India, but when I do, they bring me joy. Just like this small Art Deco period hand fan for a company called Shah Nagjee Purushottam & Co., an umbrella merchant in Bombay.
Hand fans were - and still are - important in hot climates, not only to keep the air moving but also to keep flies off!
Charming, in lovely condition and ready to frame. Rare.
