This original screen print is an official concert poster designed by El Jefe and printed by Team Eight for Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros's 2012 show in Washington, DC. Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros is an American indie folk band formed in Los Angeles, California in 2007. The band's name is based on a story leader singer Alex Ebert wrote when he was a kid about a messianic figure named Edward Sharpe. Drawing from roots rock, folk, gospel, and psychedelic music, the band's image and sound evoke the hippie movement of the 1960s and 1970s.

El Jefe - whose real name is Jeffrey Everett - is a successful designer, illustrator, and author working out of Washington, DC. The subject matter of most of his posters centers around music, and while they fit right in to rock clubs and concert venues, his work can also be found inked into brave people’s skin and framed in high-end galleries around the world (including ours!).
