This modern poster was created for a 1988 exhibition held at the Museum of Design in Zurich, Switzerland. The exhibition centered around Sigur Lewerentz, a modernist Swiss architect. He most notably co-designed one of the masterpieces of fundamentalist architecture, the Malmö Opera and Music Theatre.

Lewerentz (1885-1975) had a reputation for being somewhat enigmatic, never wrote about his own work and spoke very rarely. Regarded as a silent figure, Lewerentz instead let his work speak for itself, with designs that betrayed his "subjective and shifting experience of the world."

James Taylor-Foster explains : "Lewerentz is fabled first and foremost for his sacred spaces: cemeteries, landscapes, chapels, and tombs, which, in the case of the Woodland Cemetery in Stockholm (1915–40) or the Eastern Cemetery in Malmö (1916–73), can be experienced as single compound symphonies. His is an architecture of dignity: a balance between intimacy, intricacy, and grand gesture, of ritual and symbolic form, and the conviction of close-looking."

This poster is in excellent condition and ready to be framed.
