About the Poster: This contemporary poster from 2002 was designed to promote the Bain Mathieu and speaks to its former use as a family-friendly pool and bathing space. Built in 1930 and in service until 1990, the Bain Mathieu now offers reception halls and multi-purpose event spaces for the residents of the Centre-Sud area. The original pool and tiling are still intact and are representative of an era where public bathing facilities were commonly found around the city.
