About the Poster: A classic Art Deco image which is unusually horizontal, making it easy to place in just about any setting. Using one of Cappiello's favorite conceits - i.e., the poster within the poster (look at the bottle of the product and see how our femme fatale is mirrored within it), Delval has created an image of luxury, exoticism, and verve. The ad features Gaby Deslys, a popular actress, flapper, and singer who became famous in 1910 because of her Broadway performances. She rubbed shoulders with the wealthy (including the king of Portugal) and claimed to own her weight in pearls.
A poster is sure to bring a sense of luxury, color, and elegance to any room! The poster is in very good condition and mounted on linen.
