About the poster: The Concours Central Hippique de Paris is an old event around the horse, created in 1865. It is organized in the spring in the Champs Elysées district, at the Palais de l'Industrie, for a little less than 3 weeks and under the leadership of the Société Hippique Française. At the time, the horse was a utilitarian animal, used for transport and as a war animal, and therefore played a major economic role. The Concours Central Hippique de Paris brings together 300 to 600 horses on average, from all over France. It allows you to see animal competitions and exhibitions. (Wikipédia)
The poster has a small hole in one of the feet of the man on the left and is ready to frame.
