This poster was created in the 1950s for the Swedish Tourist Traffic Association and the Swedish State Railways. It is based on a photograph taken by Henry Blomberg (May 16, 1914-August 2, 1990) of Abisko, a small village in Sweden north of the Arctic Circle. Just out of town, extending from the southwestern shore of Torneträsk Lake, is Abisko National Park. Surrounded by mountains, it shelters lemmings and reindeer, plus the Lapp orchid.
