His second gallery is Paris opened in 1936, and there he exhibted works by Guigou as well as Lépine, Boudin, and Jongkind. Daber retired in 1970. (nga.gov)

About Mourlot: One of the most important contributions of the Mourlot Studio was the art poster. Starting in 1930, for a Daumier exhibition at the French National Museums, Mourlot became the place where posters were prepared and produced as works of art in their own right. This expansion of fine art into the printing realm began a previously non-existent partnership between artist and printer which remains to this day.

This exhibition poster is unlined, in very good condition and ready to frame.

Printed by Imp. Mourlot and from a private collection.
