About the Poster:
I don’t remember how old I was when I saw this movie for the first time, but I was a little girl and although there is no sex per se, it was pretty risqué (that I remember) and Robert Redford was so beautiful… Jane Fonda wasn’t too bad either! Evidently, the plot of the movie was that “Corrie Bratter and Paul Bratter are newlywed. For their first home, they live in an apartment on the top floor of a brownstone in New York City. During the course of four days, the couple learns to live as a "couple" while facing the usual daily ups-and-downs. Corrie wants Paul to become more easy-going, to, for example, run "barefoot in the park."
The Italians, like the French, loved (and still love) all things American, and movies were a big draw. We love the innocence and colors in this lovely oversize piece. Just back from the linen-backers, this poster is in very good condition with some signs of having been folded in one of its previous lives, as well as hints of tape that have been removed prior to linen backing.
We think it would look striking in a home theatre or living room!
