About the Artist: Hans Thoni studied at the Zürich School of Applied Arts (known as the Kunstgewerbeschule) and trained for four years in Paris before settling in Berne, Switzerland. He was an illustrator, poster designer and an exhibition designer. He was also a founding member of the VSG (Verband Schweizer Grafiker).
