About The Poster: I love posters that are able to give us (quite literally) an illustration of what life was like in earlier times. This simple, but simply perfect, Peugeot poster is a new favourite: great colours, simple graphics, and a clear marketing message.
Peugeot began as a family business that was founded in 1810 to make hand tools and kitchen equipment. As it grew, it began to manufacture bicycles and Armand Peugeot (1849-1915) built the company's first car steam tricycle, in collaboration with Leon Serpollet in 1889. This was followed in 1890 by an internal combustion car with a Panhard-Daimler engine.
In lovely condition, recently linen-backed and ready to be framed.
