A contemporary poster made for Independence Air advertising travel to Boston. Independence Air was a low-cost airline, owned by FLYi, Inc., headquartered in the Loudoun Gateway Corporate Center in Dulles, near Washington, D.C. which operated from 1989 until 2006. Its route network focused on the East Coast of the United States, but it also extended to the West Coast.

The poster features cool artwork of the Paul Revere statue in downtown Boston by Brad Hamann. Paul Revere (1734-1818) was an American silversmith, engraver, early industrialist, and Patriot in the American Revolution. He is best known for his midnight ride to alert the colonial militia in April 1775 to the approach of British forces before the battles of Lexington and Concord, as dramatized in Henry Wadsworth Longfellow's poem, "Paul Revere's Ride" (1861).

Poster is unlined and in excellent condition.
