Size: 18 x 24 inches
Artist: Thomas, Steve
This poster was commissioned specially for L'Affichiste and is a gallery exclusive! It shows two large monuments of Place Jacques Cartier (which is the entrance to Old Montreal): city hall and Nelson's Column. The statue was built in memory of Admiral Horatio Nelson who fought (and died) in the Battle of Trafalgar.
We found Steve Thomas in cyberspace - a place he knows very well - and loved his posters so much that we asked him if we could sell them, and voila! The perfect partnership. Initially born in Ontario, he now operates out of the U.S. as a freelance illustrator who happens to have a love for vintage poster, propaganda and product art from the early 20th century and an interest in retro-futuristic art.
Poster is in excellent condition and ready to frame.
