His art shaped various iconic magazines such as Harper's Bazaar, Vogue, Femina, Marie Claire, L'Officiel, L'Album du Figaro, and the Moulin Rouge. His style embodies the epitome of sophistication, grace, sensuality, and elegance. Today Gruau’s works are collected and exhibited by several fine art institutions including the Louvre.
