About this poster: This is an advertisement for the Geneva bookstore L'Oreillle Cassée by French Cartoonist Yves Chaland. L'Oreille Cassée, named after a series of Tintin Comics from the 1930s, specializes in rare and antique Bandes Dessinées, or comics, and collector's paraphernalia.
Yves Chaland (1957-1990) was an influential illustrator in the 1980s. Working closely with other notable cartoonists, Chaland launched the Atomic style, a crisp, retro-modern style. This poster is a great example of this style, and is in great condition and ready to frame!
